Individual Counseling
$150
Individual counseling is offered in person or through secure telehealth sessions and is designed to provide a supportive space to explore your concerns, goals, and overall well-being. The first appointment is a 50-minute intake session where we will get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and determine if we are a good fit to work together.
At the end of the intake session, we will talk about your goals for therapy and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. From there, I will create personalized treatment goals, and we will work together through weekly or biweekly sessions to help you make progress toward those goals at a pace that feels right for you.
Relationship Counseling
$150.00
Relationship counseling is offered in person or through secure telehealth sessions and provides a space for you to work together on strengthening the relationship. The first appointment is a 50-minute intake session where we will discuss your relationship history, current concerns, and determine if we are a good fit to work together.
During the intake session, we will begin identifying goals for therapy that may include improving communication, increasing quality time and connection, addressing intimacy concerns, parenting, financial goals, religion within the family, and other areas that are important to your relationship.
After the intake, I will create personalized treatment goals for you as a couple. Because relationship counseling often includes homework and activities to practice between sessions, most couples choose to meet biweekly to allow time to work on those skills and goals outside of therapy.
Individual Counseling
Under 18 year old
$150.00
Counseling for individuals under 18 is offered in person sessions for high school students who identify as queer or LGBTQ+.
The first appointment is a 50-minute intake session. During the first 20 minutes, I meet with both the parent(s) and the teen together to review limits of confidentiality, discuss how HIPAA applies to minors, and answer any questions about the counseling process. For the remaining 30 minutes, I meet one-on-one with the teen to begin building rapport and getting to know them directly. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where they can feel heard and understood.
Because confidentiality is especially important for teens, I aim to balance keeping parents informed while also respecting the teen’s privacy. About every 4–8 sessions, I will check in with parents by Simple Practice Messaging system. If everything is going well, there may not be a need for an additional parent sessions. If concerns come up, the teen can help decide whether we meet as a group with everyone together or if I meet with the parent(s) separately.
